PYM stands for Parish Youth Ministries – it is a committee of the Diocese of Virginia that is exclusively made up of high school students from around the diocese.  The committee plans and leads three retreat weekends held at Shrine Mont throughout the school year for 4th-12 graders.

Each weekend begins on a Friday evening and ends by 11:30 on Sunday morning. Throughout the weekend, youth are in small groups with their peers, led by committee members, where they can ask and explore big questions, or just get to know one another.  In large groups we play silly games, make joyful noise in worship, learn from a chaplain and each other, dig into the theme for the year through art or other developmentally appropriate activities, and make new friends with young people across our diocese.

We are now accepting applications for the PYM Committee!
